Mirtha Gallardo Barraza

Mirtha Gallardo Barraza of Loch Sheldrake, NY, a long time area resident, died Friday, December 20, 2024 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY. She was 46.

The daughter of Osvaldo Antonio Gallardo and Mirtha Rosa Barraza Mcausland, she was born August 24, 1978 in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Survivors include her parents, Mirtha Rosa Barraza Mcausland of Colombia; and Osvaldo Antonio Gallardo and his wife Alba Ramirez-Gallardo; her children, Christopher Rodriquez and his companion Merrisa Berger of Loch Sheldrake, NY; Samantha Rodriguez of Liberty, NY; Juliet Munoz of Liberty, NY and Haillie Larios of Liberty, NY; her companion, Matthew Kovsh; her best friend, Nick Lupo; her grandchildren, Alesia Rodriguez, Christopher Rodriguez, III, Isabella-Skye Rodriguez, Sophia Bivins, and Ethan Bivins; her sisters, Carla Gallardo and Maria Gallardo; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2025 from 4 to 6 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY. Friends and family will share memories at 6 PM in the funeral home.
