Naomi Peck

Naomi Lovina Peck of Livingston Manor, NY, a retired Chamber Maid for the Stevensville Hotel in Swan Lake, NY and a lifelong area resident, died Sunday, April 2, 2023 at home.  She was 97.

The daughter of the late Ralph and Lulu McAdams O’Dell, she was born October 7, 1925, in Hancock, New York.

Naomi worked as a chamber maid at several of the Catskill Hotels before retiring from the Stevensville Hotel in Swan Lake, NY.  She enjoyed playing cards and the piano.  She also loved watching the hummingbirds, tending her flower beds, and picking berries.

She is survived by seven daughters, Sally Fritz and her husband Carlton of Ferndale, NY, Bonnie Mears and her companion Gordon Hyde of OH, Debra Feinberg and her husband Peter of Livingston Manor, NY, Terri Hinkley of Livingston Manor, NY, Judy Ross and her companion Rich Wyble of PA, Cindy Roser of Ferndale, NY, and Wendy Zayas of Livingston Manor, NY; one son, Mitchell Peck, Sr. of Livingston Manor, NY; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband, Harland “Sonny” Peck; two sons, Harland Peck, Jr. and Clinton “Tinker” Peck; her daughter-in-law Bonnie Hauschild Peck; and by her eleven siblings.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 11 AM to 1 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Thursday April 6, 2023 at 1 PM in the funeral home.  The Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate.

Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery in Liberty, NY.
