Neil Blackman

Neil Blackman of Rock Hill, NY, a retired employee for the Paramount Hotel, Parksville, NY, and a long time area resident, passed away Thursday March 17, 2016 at the Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. He was 57.

The son of Marilyn J. Gasthalter Blackman and the late Myron Blackman, he was born November 6, 1958 in Monticello, NY.

Survivors include his mother, Marilyn Blackman; one brother, Steven Blackman of Town of Thompson, NY; many dear family members, old friends and new friends.

Neil was very loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be Friday (today), March 18, 2016 at 11 AM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY. Rabbi Simcha will officiate.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Bethel, NY.

After the burial, family and friends are invited to gather at the Rock Hill Diner. Shiva will be held on Sunday at Steven Blackman's Home at 26 Kinnebrook Park from 1 to 4 PM.
