Norma Montijo

Norma A. Montijo of Liberty, NY, a retired cafeteria worker for the Liberty High School and a longtime area resident died Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Care Center at Sunset Lake in Liberty, NY.  She was 73.

The daughter of the late Ramon and Carranza Montijo, she was born November 2, 1947 in Hatillo, Puerto Rico.

Norma had worked at the Liberty CACHE office for several years.  She enjoyed reading, walking, cooking, dancing and listening to music.

Survivors include three daughters, Jennifer Reebe and her husband Chris of Parksville, NY, Melinda Lepoidevin of Rochester, NY and Erika Serrano and her husband Royce Williams of NC; one son, Angel Serrano of Liberty, NY; eight grandsons, one granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, July 26, 2021 from 11 AM to 1 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral service will be Monday, July 26, 2021 at 1 PM in the funeral home.  The Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate.

Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery Cold Spring Road, Liberty, NY.
