Omar Gonzalez

Omar G. Gonzalez of Liberty, NY, a long time area resident died Tuesday, December 3, 2019 in Ellenville, NY.  He was 24.

The son of Richie and Amy S. Mansfield Gonzalez, he was born October 4, 1995 in Utuado, Puerto Rico.

Omar enjoyed playing basketball with the Town of Liberty Team.

Survivors include his is parents, Richie and Amy Mansfield Gonzalez of White Sulphur Springs, NY; two sisters, Brittany Gonzalez of Liberty, NY and Lizmarie Gonzalez of Liberty, NY; one brother, Christian Gonzalez of Utuado, PR; three children, Olivia Gonzalez, Jovani Gonzalez and Zayden Gonzalez all of Ellenville, NY; his maternal grandmother, Mary Mansfield of Reidsville, NC; and his God parents, Melvin Mansfield and Jen Colton.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 12 Noon to 2 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2 PM in the funeral home.  The Rev. Dr. Melvin Mansfield will officiate.
