Pastor Barreras

Pastor Canas Barreras of South Fallsburg, NY, a refrigerator technician for Resnick Supermarket Equipment Corp., Mountaindale, NY, and a nineteen year area resident, died July 23, 2012 at his home. He was 45.

The son of Gonzalo Raul Canas Rivera and Francisa Canas Barreras, he was born August 9, 1966 in El Salvador.

Survivors include his wife, Aida Padilla Haydee Canas Barreras, at home; six children, Merlin Sandoval, Ismael Sandoval, Ernesto Sandoval, Lety Sandoval, Francisca Canas, and Gabriela Canas; one brother, Carlos Canas; and one sister, Delmis Canas.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Wednesday evening at 7PM in the funeral home. The Rev. Sylvia Santos will officiate.

Burial will be in the Analco Cemetery in Zacatecoluca, Lapaz, El Salvador.
