Patricia Edwards

Patricia "Patti" Edwards, 73, of White Sulphur Springs, New York died Thursday, March 5, 2015 with her family by her side.

She was born on April 3, 1941 in Ossining, New York to the late Walter and Marie Grasso Kapp McIlveen.

Patti is survived by her husband of 53 years, Thomas "Tom" Edwards; her five daughters Toni Canonico, Teri Beimler and husband Gregg, Tami Festa, Tina Johnstone and husband Matthew, and Tara Caroll and husband James; and her eight grandchildren: Heather and Tommy Canonico; Nik and Jack Beimler; Andrew, Carli and Hailie Festa; and Madi Johnstone.

She was kind and courageous and died peacefully with grace.

Patti was a loving and loyal wife, mother, and friend. She was fiercely faithful, and a devout member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She loved golf, gardening, beach combing and playing Scrabble and Yahtzee with her children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday March 10, 2015 from 2 - 5 pm and 7 - 9 pm at the Harris Funeral Home, West Street at Buckley, Liberty New York. The White Sulphur Springs Ladies Auxiliary will conduct services at 7:30 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:45 AM at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 264 No. Main Street Liberty, NY. Monsignor Edward Straub will officiate.

Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, NY.
