Patrick J. Martinetti, Jr.

Patrick J. Martinetti, Jr. of Cochecton, NY, the owner of Mule Creek Saddlery and a longtime area resident died Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at his home. He was 74.

The son of the late Patrick J. and Anne Carcietta Martinetti, he was born December 8, 1949 in Staten Island, NY.

Patrick was passionate about horses. He was a horse trainer and a former member of the National Bit, Spur, and Saddle Collectors Association.

Survivors include his partner, Renee Layman, at home; and one son, Daniel Martinetti and his partner, Ashley Luckey of Callicoon, NY; and Renee's children, Pete, Kali, and Tom and his wife Addie Bryda. 

At this time the family has chosen to celebrate Patrick's life privately.  A celebration of life event is being planned.

Dignified cremation is being provided by Harris Crematorium, LLC.
