Raymond Cubberly

Raymond G. "Red" Cubberly of Roscoe, NY, formerly of Hobart, NY, a retired employee of Dietrich Corp. in Union, NJ and a 25 year area resident, died Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Kindred Hospital in Wayne, NJ.

The son of the late Raymond G. and Florence Palumbo Cubberly, he was born December 14, 1938 in Bayonne, NJ. He was 77.

Ray had been raised by his loving grandparents who affectionately referred to him as "Dutch"; he served Our Country in the USMC from 1955-1961 where he was on the Air Water Rescue Team and was in the Drum and Bugle Corp., he later worked for Dietrich Corp. where he traveled the US and around the world establishing offices and trouble shooting; later for a pharmaceutical company in Hobart, NY for 12 years before retiring. Red enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a member of the Bandito Motor Cycle Club and the Worn and Weathered Motor Cycle Club of Delaware County.

Survivors include his devoted wife Rose Condon, at home; one son, Scott Cubberly and his wife; two daughters, Lindsay Cubberley and her fiancAC. Bobby Baker and Casey Olson and her husband Richard; two step daughters, Angela Dropp and Abby Clark and her husband James; one step son, John Dropp and his wife Kallie; eight granddaughters and three grandsons.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 12, 2016, from 10-11 AM in the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 12th at 11 AM in the funeral home.
