Rhonda Gorr Walker

Rhonda Sue Gorr Walker of Liberty, NY formerly of Livingston Manor, NY, a lifelong area resident died Saturday, January 4, 2020 at her home. She was 52.

The daughter of Martin “Hank” Gorr and Luella “Sue” Gorr, she was born October 19, 1967 in Liberty, NY.

Rhonda had worked as a groundskeeper at the Sullivan County Golf Course in Liberty NY; in high school she was an athlete and an artist; and she had a heart of gold.

Survivors include her son, Joshua Gorr and his wife Shayna of Callicoon, NY; her parents, Luella “Sue” Gorr and Martin “Hank” Gorr of Livingston Manor, NY; her sister, Lori Gorr-Ward and her husband Tony of Livingston Manor, NY; one brother, Martin E. Gorr and his wife Jennifer of Roscoe, NY; two nieces, Emily Gorr and Abby Gorr; one nephew, Benson Ward; several cousins, including a special cousin, Dr. Luann Steele, DVM; and her dog, Pepsi.

She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel G. Walker.

Visitation will be Monday, January 13, 2020 from 12 Noon to 2 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.  A service, celebrating Rhonda’s life, will begin at 2 PM.
