Richard Branning

Richard K. Branning of Randolph, NJ, formerly of Sullivan County, NY, a retired Physical Therapist died Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Morristown Medical Center Hospital, Morristown, NJ.  He was 62.

The son of the late Minard "Mike" and Frances Mitchell Branning, he was born February 2, 1959 in Newburgh, NY.

Survivors include two daughters, Kai Branning of Augusta, NJ, and Zabrina Branning of Sparta, NJ; two sons, Brendan Branning of Colbert, GA and Ryan Branning of Sparta, NJ; his good friend, Maritza Branning; three brothers, Scott Branning and his wife Sharon of Livingston Manor, NY, Michael Branning of Monticello, NY and William Branning of Weaverville, NC; several nephews and cousins.

Rich was a graduate of Roscoe Central School. After graduation from college, he owned Allied Physical Therapy in

Denville, NJ where, through the years, before retiring, he helped countless numbers of young athletes, professional athletes, children, and adults to recover from injuries and surgeries. He also worked with young athletes as a trainer.  In his spare time, Rich enjoyed listening to all kinds of music and going to concerts, fishing with first his Dad and then his own children and taking long rides in his car.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 12 noon to 2 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 2 PM in the funeral home.  Ruling Elder/Lay Leader Sharon Branning will officiate.  Social distancing guidelines and facemasks are required.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
