Richard Wall

Richard Wall of Hortonville, NY a lifelong area resident died Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was 76.

The son of the late George and Lillian Goetz Wall, he was born August 4, 1948 in Callicoon, NY.

Richard proudly served our country in the US Navy from 1967-70. Before retirement, he had worked as a painter and sign installer for Sullivan County DPW. Richard enjoyed fishing and traveling on cruises; gambling and playing poker. He was an avid New York Yankees fan.

Survivors include his wife, Karen S. Robisch Wall, at home; two daughters, Denise Murns of West Point, NY and Kim Wall of Youngsville, NY; his grandchildren, Alex Murns, Mitchell Murns, Faith Murns and Zelda; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Marilyn Eden and Carol Kamens.

A celebration of Richard's life will be held this summer.
