Robert Davison

Robert H. Davison of Liberty, NY, a retired groundskeeper for the Villa Roma Resort's Golf Course, Callicoon, NY, died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was 78.

The son of the late Harold Davison and Marian Silvernail VanAllen, he was born September 19, 1934 in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Abplanalp Davison, at home; three daughters, Debra McCosco of Liberty, NY, Kathy Simpson and her husband Bobby of Liberty, NY, and Bonnie Tuttle and her husband Wesley of Parksville, NY; one sister, Penny Broadie and her husband Ron of Pleasant Valley, NY; six grandchildren, Ryan McCosco, Jaime Greaves, Charlie Tuttle, Cassey Simpson, Amanda Tuttle, Malinda Kristiansen; seven great grandchildren, Brooklyn McCosco, Peyton McCosco, Ryder McCosco, Gavin Beseth, Shea-Leigh Kristiansen, Jeremy Tuttle, and Liam Greaves; two sisters-in-law, Phyllis Ross and Dolores Carney and her husband Barry; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by two brothers, William Davison and Butchie Davison.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 11 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. John Thomason will officiate.

Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs, NY.
