Robert Sweeney

Robert Sweeney of Liberty, NY, a self-employed contractor and a longtime area resident, died Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY.  He was 60.

The son of the late Edward J. and Gladys Manico Sweeney, he was born October 29, 1963 in Brooklyn, NY.

Robbie was a volunteer at Bethel Woods and he was very involved with a program for recovery.

Survivors include two sons, Justin Sweeney of Melbourne, FL and Gary Sweeney of Palm Bay, FL; two sisters, Barbara Rymanowski of Monroe, NC and Kathleen Larkin of Monroe, NC; two granddaughters, Delilah and Willow; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, June 14, 2024 from 5-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Celebration of Life Services will be Friday, June 14, 2024 at 7 PM in the funeral home.

Dignified cremation is being provided by Harris Crematorium, LLC.
