Robert Will

Robert J. Will of Roscoe, NY, a lifelong area resident died Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the O'Conner Hospital in Delhi, NY with his loving family by his side. He was 82.

The son of the late Wesley J. and Frances S. Gregory Will he was born July 1, 1934 in Roscoe, NY.

Robert proudly served Our Country in the US Army; he had been a member of the Floyd Keener American Legion Post # 315; and he had worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Sullivan County Department of Public Works for over 30 years before retiring. Bob was one of the oldest members in the Roscoe-Rockland Fire Department, serving for over 60 years; and is a former Commissioner for the Roscoe Fire District; and he is a former member of the Roscoe-Rockland Volunteer Ambulance Corp. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, camping in Boonville, NY and he was a maple syrup producer.

Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Donna R. Weber Will, at home; two sons, David R. Will and his wife Janet of Callicoon Center, NY and Michael A. Will and his wife Denise M. of Roscoe, NY; and one cousin, David Drew of Utica, NY.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.

Firematic Services conducted by the Roscoe-Rockland Fire Department on Tuesday evening at 7 PM in the funeral home.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 11 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. Gerald Wondra will officiate.

Burial will be in the Bon Air Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
