Robin Ford

Robin A. Ford of Livingston Manor, NY, a senior residential associate at the Center for Discovery, Harris, NY, and a lifelong area resident died Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. She was 56.

The daughter of Leona Van Loan Sherwood and the late Clarence Sherwood, Sr., she was born April 17, 1957 in Liberty, NY.

Robin was the Livingston Manor Brownie Scout Leader for many years; she enjoyed camping and collecting lighthouses; over the years, she visited many light houses in the United States; her favorite holiday was Halloween.

Survivors include her mother, Leona Van Loan Sherwood of Livingston Manor, NY; two brothers, Clarence Sherwood and his wife Julie of Livingston Manor, NY, and Donald Sherwood and his wife Alyce of Livingston Manor, NY; one sister, Doris Rose of Belfair, WA; and several nieces and nephews including, Joel, Brian, Shane, Heather, Allanna, Graig, Karen, Dennis, Barbara, and Ellen; and her best friend, Mary.

She was predeceased by her father, Clarence Sherwood, Sr. and her daughter, Jamie Lynn Ford.

Visitation will be Monday, April 14, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 11 AM in the Livingston Manor Presbyterian Church, Old Route 17, Livingston Manor, NY. Mr. Ralph Bressler will officiate.
