Rodney Church

Rodney Church of Roscoe, NY formerly of Walton, NY, a lifelong area resident, died Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Roscoe Regional Rehab. and Residential Health Care Facility, Roscoe, NY. He was 65.

The son of the late Dorr W. and Isabelle G. Gray Church, he was born December 2, 1950 in Hamden, NY.

Rodney was a graduate of Walton High School; he was the president of the Resident's Council at the Roscoe Regional Rehab. and Residential Health Care Facility; and a founding member of the Marvels Band which is now known as Coyote Ugly and is still performing throughout Delaware County.

Survivors include one brother, Douglas Church of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Dianne I. Brush and her husband James of Hendersonville, TN and Kaye F. Miller and her husband Richard of Hendersonville, TN; many nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by four brothers, Kenneth L., Edwin W., Robert, and Ricky Church; and four sisters, Joyce C. Griffin, Margaret Church, Beverly Horn and Debra Budine.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 10 - 11 AM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 11 AM in the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Ouleout Valley Cemetery, Franklin, NY.
