Ronald Mattison

Ronald P. Mattison of Ferndale, NY, a retired Sergeant with the Village of Liberty Police Department and a lifelong area resident, died Friday, May 27, 2022 at his home.

The son of Natalie Brown Mattison and the late Clifford Mattison, he was born March 8, 1949 in Liberty, NY.

Survivors include his mother, Natalie Mattison of Wellsville, NY; one son, Eric Mattison of Harris, NY; one brother, Robert Mattison of Liberty, NY; two sisters, Shirley Mangels of Wellsville, NY and Sandra Mattison of Saugerties, NY; two nephews and two nieces.  He was predeceased by his father and by one nephew.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 4-6 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Memorial contributions in his name may be made to The Center for Discovery, for his son or to his family for expenses.
