Ronald Shea

Ronald J. Shea of Livingston Manor, NY a long time area resident, died Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY.  He was 45.

The son of the late Ronald J. Wilshusen and Margaret D. Shea, he was born March 28, 1973 in Brooklyn, NY.

Ronald loved to play his guitar and his Metallica songs; he enjoyed playing his video games and his CB radio.  Ronny was so full of life.  His smile always lit up the room whenever he walked in.  He had a passion for drawing, sketching, and graffiti.  He and his cousin Dominick would always compete with one another with their graffiti and tagging.  Ronny and Dominick were inseparable.  Ronny was so very proud of his children for everything they have accomplished and for the extraordinary people they’ve become as adults.  He would do anything in the world just to see them smile.  Ronny will be missed by so many but we will carry on his legacy.

Survivors include his companion, Serafina Siciliano of Livingston Manor, NY; one daughter, Alexis Shea of Ellenville, NY; one son, Ronald J. Shea, Jr. serving in the US Army in Ft. Bliss, TX; one sister, Dawn Shea Maurer and her husband Thomas of Eden, NC; and two nieces, Meara Maurer and Krista Maurer.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 9 to 11:15 AM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11:45 AM in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 264 No. Main Street, Liberty, NY.  Father Edward Bader will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
