Roy Moore, Sr

Roy E. Moore, Sr. of Liberty, NY, a retired butcher for Adam's Meat Packing, Liberty, NY and a long time area resident, died Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris. NY. He was 75.

The son of the late William and Effie Dixon Moore, he was born October 5, 1935 in Shine, NC.

Survivors include two daughters, Delphine Bruce and Ruth Moore; two sons, Roy Moore, Jr. and Gary Moore; one sister, Eva Carter; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Monday, May 16, 2011 at 1 PM in the funeral home. The Rev. Ruth Sellers-Ward will officiate.

Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, NY.
