Russell F. "Mickey" Dauch of Cooks Falls, NY, a retired New York State Trooper and a lifelong area resident, died Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Roscoe Regional Rehabilitation and Residential Health Care Facility, Roscoe, NY. He was 81.
The son of the late George Jr. and Viola Baker Dauch, he was born June 22, 1930 in The Town of Rockland, NY.
Mickey served Our Country in the United States Navy and he worked with the Delaware County Republican Committee.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Dauch and his wife Melissa of Roscoe, NY, and Kevin Dauch and his wife Susan of Utica, NY; four grandchildren, Kyle, Sean, James, and Aiden; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Nancy Waterman Dauch; two sisters, Jacqueline and Muriel "Honey"; and two brothers, Leonard "Ike" and Jim.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.
Funeral Services will be Monday, April 16, 2012 at 1 PM in the funeral home. The Rev. David Collins will officiate.
Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery in Roscoe, NY.
Memorial contributions in his name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
