Russell J. Jackson

Russell J. Jackson of Ellenville, NY died Friday, March 18, 2022 in Liberty, NY.  He was 35.

The son of Gloria Wallace Jackson and the late Louis Jackson, he was born July 10, 1986 in Hempstead, NY.

Russell was a graduate of Liberty High School in which he was a friend and protector to many. Russell enjoyed expressing himself through poetry. He went on to study Auto Tech and Business Management at Morrisville College in Morrisville, New York. Russell’s heart was forever expanding for his family, friends, and anyone he came in contact with. In the hearts he has touched, he will never be forgotten.

Survivors include his mother, Gloria Jackson of Liberty, NY; five brothers, Timontio Jackson, Andrew Jackson, Wilfred Jackson and his wife Esena, Anthony Jackson, and Pedro Jackson and his wife Kala; one daughter, Melijah; two sons, Raheem and Gabriel; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was predeceased by a sister, Tonya.

Visitation will be Friday, April 1, 2022 from 11AM until 1 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 1, 2022 at 1 PM in the funeral home.  Father Edward Bader will officiate.
