Sandra Steele

Sandra Joyce Steele of Livingston Manor, NY, a homemaker and a lifelong area resident, died Monday, March 9, 2015 at her home. She was 71.

The daughter of the late Eugene and Thelma O'Dell Eck, she was born July 25, 1943 in Hancock, NY.

Sandy enjoyed spending time at the casino and time with her granddaughters.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 46 years, Bob Steele, at home; one daughter, Dr. Luann Steele of Livingston Manor, NY; two granddaughters, Sophie and Layla Wilkin; one sister, Sue Gorr and her husband Hank of Livingston Manor, NY; several cousins including Vickie Simpson and Joan Edwards; and several nieces and nephews including, Lori Gorr-Ward and Gene Eck..

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 3-4 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 4 PM in the funeral home. The Rev. Duane Steele will officiate.
