Stanley Pizzi

Stanley A. Pizzi of Swan Lake, NY, a retired laborer and a long time area resident died Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was 88.

The son of the late Giovanni and Carmela Annunziata Pizzi, he was born December 13, 1926 in Bronx, NY.

Stanley was a communicant of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Liberty, NY; he was an accomplished musician and enjoyed playing the mandolin and the guitar. He will be missed.

Survivors include his two devoted brothers, William Pizzi of Swan Lake, NY and Guido Pizzi of Swan Lake, NY; one loving nephew, Louie Iengo of Monticello, NY; and his loving niece, Theresa Ferrarese of Monticello, NY.

He was predeceased by one brother, Vincent Pizzi; and two sisters, Philomena Iengo and Pauline Turchiano.

Graveside services and burial will be Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 10 AM in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Liberty, NY. Father William Scafidi will officiate.
