Stephen Argent

Stephen R. Argent of Unadilla, NY, formerly of Horton Brook, NY, a retired highway equipment operator for New York State Department of Transportation, Hancock, NY and a lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown, NY. He was 68.

The son of the late Raymond and Thressa McGraw Argent, he was born January 17, 1947 in Horton Brook, NY.

Steve is a former member of the Cooks Falls-Horton Fire Department; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working outdoors around his home.

Survivors include his wife, Della Cawley Argent, at home; two daughters, Tamie Mills and her husband Walter of Corbett, NY and Amy Argent of Sidney, NY; three grandchildren, Samantha Mills, Hunter Lane, and Justice Lane.

He was predeceased by one granddaughter, Kayla Mills.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 10 AM - 12 noon in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 12 noon in the funeral home. The Rev. Paul Cicio will officiate.

Burial will be in the Cooks Falls Cemetery, Cooks Falls, NY.
