Theresa Graves

Theresa M. Graves of Roscoe, NY a retired cook at the Rockland House in Roscoe, NY and a long time area resident, died Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center.  She was 68.

The daughter of the late Patsy and Violet Price Pantore, she was born November 18, 1949 in Bronx, NY.

Survivors include four brothers, Patrick “Butch” Pantore of FL, Michael Pantore of FL, Edward Pantore and his wife Diane of Davenport, NY, and Adolph Pantore and his wife Candie of Bloomingburg, NY; seven sisters, Elizabeth Mallia of FL, MaryAnn Pantore of Valley Cottage, NY, Josephine Shellman and her husband Ronald of East Branch, NY, Carmella Langlois of Liberty, NY, Carole Edwards and her husband Edwin of Livingston Manor, NY, Donna Bowers of Roscoe, NY, and Patricia Glasheen and her husband Kenneth of NJ; her dear cat, Butterscotch; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Ralph S. Graves on July 5, 2014.

Theresa loved to cook and will be remembered for creating special dishes and preparing food for family affairs, including weddings, graduations and sweet 16 parties.  The family is grateful for the care and attention provided by her neighbor, Vickie Bowers; and by her brother Adolph, who went above and beyond in caring for his sister.

Visitation will be Friday, September 14, 2018 from 11 AM to 1 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Avenue, Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM in the funeral home.  Father Edward Bader will officiate.

Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
