Thomas "Curly" Greene

Thomas C. “Curly” Greene of Woodbourne, NY, the founder and former owner of Aer Care in Woodbourne, NY and a long time area resident died Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.  He was 71.

The son of the late Patrick and Julia Tutty Greene, he was born May 29, 1947 in Hacketstown, County Carlow, Ireland.

Thomas was a Life Member of the Woodbourne Fire Department; a member and Past Master of the Liberty Masonic Lodge #521 Free and Accepted Masons; a Shriner; and a 32˚ member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite N.M.J.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Andres Greene, at home; three sons, Thomas Greene and his wife Stephanie Jackson of Fayetteville, NC, Sean Greene and his wife Brooke of Stockbridge, GA, and Eric Greene and his companion Terra Balcom of Margaretville, NY; one daughter, Susan Greene of Woodbourne, NY; one brother, Adrian Greene of England; eight grandchildren, Tyler Gold, Thomas and Rachael Greene, Emma and Evan Greene, Matthew Greene, Olivia Balcom, and Amanda Weigan; and several nieces and nephews in Ireland and England.

He was predeceased by one brother, Kenneth Greene.

Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Firematic services will be Friday evening, August 17, 2018 at 7PM; a Masonic Service will follow in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Burial will be in the Lady Lake Cemetery in Lady Lake, Florida.

Memorial contributions in Curly’s name may be made to the Heart Lung Institute Building #31, 31 Center Drive, Bethesta, MD 20892 or to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
