Trevor Ray Tate of White Sulphur Springs, NY, a safety officer for Granite Associates in Ferndale, NY and a lifelong area resident died Friday, June 23, 2017 in White Sulphur Springs, NY. He was 26.
The son of Thomas R. and Linda M. Salonich Tate, he was born July 10, 1990 in Harris, NY.
Trevor was a member of the White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church where he was confirmed and attended Sunday School and he was a long time member and currently a Lieutenant in the White Sulphur Springs Fire Department. He was a dedicated member of the White Sulphur Springs Community. Trevor graduated from Liberty High School and Alfred State. He had been a member of the cross country team and enjoyed bowling, skiing, indoor hockey, baseball, soccer, skydiving and golf, and was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas R. and Linda M. Tate of White Sulphur Springs, NY; one brother, Justin T. Tate of White Sulphur Springs, NY; two aunts, Patricia Boddy of Livingston Manor, NY and Susan Salonich of Livingston Manor, NY; his girlfriend, Nicole Campiglia; and several cousins and great cousins.
Visitation will be Monday, June 26, 2017 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.
Firematic services will be conducted by the White Sulphur Springs Firemen at 7 PM Monday evening in the funeral home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 11 AM in the White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church Route 52, White Sulphur Springs, NY. The Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate.
Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, NY.
