Tsuyuko “Tee” Noda Verona, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and teacher passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 in Roscoe, NY where she resided most of her life.
Born in Kapaau, Hawaii on August 11, 1931, her life’s journey would take her to the charming town of Roscoe where she created a lifetime of cherished memories along side her husband of almost 67 years, Richard Verona.
Tee dedicated her career to teaching children as an Elementary School Teacher. Her passion for her teaching touched the lives of countless students.
Outside the classroom, Tee had many great joys. She had a green thumb and brought forth vibrant gardens. She enjoyed hand crafting her one-of-a-kind dried flower cards. She loved baking and was known locally for her delicious homemade baked goods.
Survivors include her loving husband, Richard Verona; her children, Lani Verona, Craig Verona and his wife Jill; her grandchildren, Helena-Rae, Kade, Bayley, Casey, Samantha, Kyle, CJ, and Karley; and several great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Kamala Morgans. While she will be deeply missed, she will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
In keeping with Tee’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. Her family encourages those who knew her to honor her memory by planting some flowers or baking something delicious.
