Walter Kapicic

Walter J. Kapicic of Myrtle Beach, SC formerly of Liberty, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 24, 2018 at the age of 61. He was a retired Teamsters truck driver in the Local Unions #707 and #445.

Walter had a great enthusiasm for life and made friends everywhere he went.  He was an avid dog lover and enjoyed cooking new recipes, playing his xbox and getting tattoos.

The son of the late Walter and Ann Kapicic, he was born February 15, 1957 in Brooklyn, NY.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Kapicic, at home with their loyal canine companion, Gaia; two daughters, Raina Kapicic and her fiancé Felix and Michelle Kapicic;  one grandson, Gavin and one soon to be born grandson; two sisters, Lorraine Eichhorn and her husband Robert and Carol Kapicic; two sisters in law, Kathleen Volckens and Loretta Gillen and her husband Kevin; seven nieces and nephews; one great nephew; and mother-in-law, Mary Volckens.

A memorial visitation will be Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 2 to 4 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.
