Wendy Corter

Wendy D. Corter of Cuddebackville, NY, a secretary for the dietary department at Valley View - Orange County Infirmary, Goshen, NY and a long time area resident died Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY. She was 68.

The daughter of William Czarnowski and the late Vera Karyshyn Czarnowski, she was born March 15, 1956 in Teaneck, NJ. Wendy proudly served Our Country in the US Army.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth W. Corter, at home; three sons, Ronald G. Peters, Jr. of Port Jervis, NY, Geoffrey A. Peters of NY and Corey J. Peter’s of Bloomingburg, NY; one brother, Jerry Czarnowski of Huguenot, NY; one sister, Barbara Decker; four grandchildren; one niece, Diana Pitre and one nephew, Nick Pitre.

Visitation was private. Dignified cremation provided by Harris Crematorium LLC.

Memorial contributions in Wendy’s name may be made to American Cancer Society.
