Wilhelmina Bogart

Wilhelmina Bogart of Downsville, NY, a homemaker and a long time area resident, died Thursday, June 15, 2017 at her home. She was 94.

The daughter of the late J. William and Helen P. Van Loon Bouw, she was born July 19, 1922 in New York City, NY.

Wilhelmina was a member of the Colchester Community Church; she enjoyed gardening, crocheting and quilting.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Bogart-Greenlarand her husband Michael of Syracuse, NY; her son, John W. Bogart and his wife Carol of Downsville, NY; one sister, Margaretta Salisbury of East Amherst, NY; two grandchildren, Marissa Greenlar and Jason Bogart and his wife Vicky; one great grandson, William Harrison Bogart; sister in law, Joyce Bouw; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Harrison Bogart in 1985; and two brothers, Albert Bouw and John Bouw.

Graveside services and burial will be private in the Paige Cemetery in Downsville, NY.  Chaplin Bruce Helstrom will officiate.
