William "Bill" Rajewski

William “Bill” Rajewski of Roscoe, NY a lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY. He was 76.

The son of the late William and Thelma VanLoan Rajewski, he was born February 6, 1948 in Liberty, NY.

Bill had worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver at the Town of Rockland, Asphalt Distributors in Liberty, NY and Johnson and Rhodes in East Branch, NY. Bill was a member of the Roscoe-Rockland Fire Department where he had served as Past Chief and Past Fire Commissioner. He enjoyed hunting and working on engines of all sizes; from cars to chainsaws, he was always working on a job. From the time that Bill was a teen, he always worked hard to provide for his family.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Rajewski, at home; one daughter, Christina Frankenberg of Roscoe, NY; two sons, Nicholas Rajewski of Grants Pass OR and Tony Rajewski of Buffalo, NY; and one granddaughter, Taylor Frankenberg.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 12 Noon in the Roscoe Community Center, Roscoe, NY.
