William Haggerty

William T. Haggerty of Roscoe, NY, a retired EMT for the Fire Department of New York City, died Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. He was 66.

The son of the late James W. and Rita Ryan Haggerty, he was born September 12, 1949 in Yonkers, NY.

William proudly served Our Country in the US Marine Corps. from 1968 to 1972; he was a member of the Roscoe-Rockland Volunteer Ambulance Corp; and he enjoyed traveling; spending time with his family; and St. Patrick's Day. He was known for holding an annual neighborhood barbeque.

Survivors include two daughters, Jeanmarie Psarudakis and her husband Robert of Deposit, NY and Roseann McKee and her companion Brian Cole of Livingston Manor, NY; one brother, James Haggerty and his wife Nora of Westchester, NY; five grandchildren, Gabriella, Gavin, Gracelynn, Liam and Seamus.

Visitation will be Saturday August 27, 2016 from 11 AM to 1 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 1 PM in the funeral home. The Rev. Patrick Longalong will officiate.

Burial with military honors will be in the Sullivan County Veteran's Cemetery, Liberty, NY.

Following the services the family will hold a respite at the Roscoe-Rockland Fireman's Field, Gulf Road, Roscoe, NY.
