William Sheehan

William Joseph Sheehan of Swan Lake, NY, died at home on October 14th 2011. William, 52, was born February 27, 1959 in New York City and raised in Chester, NY. He was predeceased by his mother Catherine Herrmann Sheehan and father William Sheehan and as well as his grandparents Nora and Joseph Sheehan and Catherine Herrmann.

He is survived by Emily Sheehan and his son William of Liberty, his brothers Christopher (and Kathy) of Florida, NY, John of Vail, CO and his sisters, Catherine Sheehan-Barney (husband Sean) of Las Vegas, NV and Veronica DiFalco (husband James) of Arlington, TX. He is also survived by his nephews James DiFalco and Tristan Martin and a multitude of cousins.

William worked at Daytop Village for 20 years in various capacities. William enjoyed fishing, and reading, but most loved spending time with his family. William was incredibly proud of seeing his son graduate from high school this June with honors and embarking on his college career.

Cremation will be private. A memorial mass will take place at St. Peter's Church, 264 North Main Street in Liberty, NY on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 1pm. Following the service friends and family are invited to 126 Dwyer Street in Liberty, NY.

Donations will be accepted to Defray costs.
