William Toher

William A. Toher of Liberty, NY, a retired auto mechanic for Fisher Oldsmobile in Bergenfield, NJ, died Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the Sapphire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Goshen, NY.  He was 85.

The son of the late Farrell Toher and Pauline Eichner, he was born March 14,1937 in New York City, NY.

Survivors include three sisters, Cynthia, Phyllis, and Elizabeth; several brothers-in-law, including Lee Austin and Lemuel Austin; and sisters-in-law, including Jean Austin; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Joan K. Toher in November 2013; his parents, Farrell and Pauline Toher; and his step father, George Swift.

Graveside services will be private at the Laurel Hill Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, NY.
