Winfred Bivins

Winfred "Bubby" V. Bivins, Sr. of Liberty, NY, a retired tow-truck operator for Stanley Miler - "Sams" Towing and a life long area resident, died Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at his home. He was 78.

The son of the late Earl and Eva Nutt Bivins, he was born November 30, 1937 in Liberty, NY.

Survivors include his wife, Jean C. Bivins, at home; three sons, Winfred, Jr., Craig, and Andrew; one daughter, Debbie Weiler; and two sisters, Eva Barry and Eleanor Edwards.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 17, 2016 at 10 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate.
